We want numismatics in Poland to be professional, and being an important entity on the auction market in Poland, we feel responsible for its condition and transparency.
Recently, we have introduced many solutions at our auctions that serve to improve the bidding.
1) Transparent start -up policy with information visible to the bidders about the possible minimum price and from the next premium auction, the reserve price.
2) not using hidden price locks and appropriate provisions in contracts blocking the auction of your own items. We count on Onebid, so that in the future such restrictions were introduced from the technical side, but even if we are lonely in this idea, we will introduce further changes. We hope that a clear signal will not require further action on our part.
3) From the next premium auction, we introduce a qualitative description of the state of maintaining the values from the stationary session, even those in NGC and PCGS grading.
The time has come for another important change, which many of you mentioned. Namely, from the already completed auction XI, we will update information in archival auction descriptions that the item has not been purchased.
Such a policy will be used for items whose final price exceeded PLN 20,000, as well as for those whose final price may raise doubts of the wide market.
At our auctions, the level of purchase reaches 98-99%. We effectively eliminate people who allow their pets and kids to auction, phones click on their pockets on their own, and even more so we don't remember bidders who, as soon as the auction ends, finish their adventure with their many years of passion. There are single absurd cases, but these are really very rare situations and over the years of activity we could mention a few bizarre "excuses".
Our change is perfectly illustrated by the two -day of Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki. Finally, the person who won the coin at the XI auction did not meet our extended payment terms and the value re -goes to the auction sales at the nearest thematic auction. In the OneBID archive just below the starting price there is the information "Unexpired position".
Parallel at the XI auction, an order for several rare Lithuanian banknotes was not realized, which reached very high final prices. These values also received an appropriate annotation - an unpunished position.
Such a change will allow you to a reliable valuation of your values based on our archive, as well as preparing correctly for upcoming auctions based on archival results. He cuts off the field for manipulation, and also rationalizes the expectation of potential results that the committee can achieve by selling their qualities.
We hope that you will find the changes introduced.
